Advisor & Consultant

Since 2022, Jennifer has served as a Community Fellow and Community Scholar with the Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research in the area of Global Health and Humanitarianism at York University.

Jennifer was appointed as Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Health at York University between 2011 - 2016. In this role, she has helped to design a course on Agents of Change as part of a new Global Health degree program.

Between 1997 and 2005, Jennifer has worked on a range of consulting projects related to understanding, reaching and motivating youth as customers, employees, students and citizens. Jennifer has provided strategy consulting to an array of clients including MDS, McDonalds, Nike, Swatch, HP and VanCity Credit Union. Jennifer has been an Advisor to the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and was the editorial team for an award-winning book and multimedia CD-ROM entitled "It's Your Future" which was produced for the Toronto-Dominion Bank in 1998.

In 2000, Jennifer was brought into Microsoft to develop and implement a company-wide strategy to raise awareness and action around the next generation of workers. During this time, she worked with Worked with over 15 different product groups to assist them with strategic decisions and planning and advised group vice-presidents on developing products and services for, marketing to, and developing strategies to attract, the "Net Generation". In 2004, was the Coordinator of Recruitment for Microsoft's Information Worker Board of the Future. This project involved leading the recruitment of 15 dynamic college/university students from 14 countries who traveled to Redmond for one week to share experiences and ideas as well as to advise Microsoft senior executives on the future of work & technology. Jennifer also developed and implemented an online Youth Advisory Team for the Ontario Science Centre as part of the process of informing the Weston Family Innovation Centre.
